Once a week I share my Project Life pages--mostly to help keep myself on track for the year. I'd love to see your pages too so be sure to leave a comment or link to your weekly spread. You can follow me here and on Instagram to see all sorts of goodies from our life.
This is one week that it felt a little bit like a chore to do the spread. I've got a pretty full plate lately, and so wanting to sit down and focus on this is hard. But, when it's all done, I'm so glad that I did. Seeing the small moments from the week together makes me really feel appreciative of our life. Do you ever feel that way? What do you do to break out of a creative rut??
I'm still having a love affair with the Kiwi kit and wanted the colors from the egg photo to go throughout the layout. I added a few tags, but keeping it simple is working right now.
Next week I'll be using the cards from my Everyday Rituals kit. Sarah did a great job designing the cards and I can't wait to play with them!
Close up on the left side:
It includes a morning walk, me at work, a garden project, and the magic of the car wash.
The month card is from Elise and I just cut it down to fit and added some banner stickers to jazz it up! The TimerCam app is great for getting photos of yourself! I set this one up one morning at work.
Naomi and Hollis are obsessed with the car wash. They ask to go nearly everyday when we drive by. They just don't understand why you wouldn't get your car washed every day. We found out this time that they aren't fans of the vacuum and it's way too loud and sucks up all their dropped crayons and snacks.
The right hand side is all about our Easter. We dyed eggs on Saturday morning and then went over to Grandma's house for an egg hunt on Easter afternoon. It was a pretty mellow day---which is just how we like to do our holidays around here.
My mother in law bought the kids huge stuffed frogs and they were the kids favorite thing about Easter. Hollis has names is Luke Pondwalker and the girls are calling their frogs Speck.
Naomi was totally faking being grouchy for a our self-portrait. Mark got this great picture of Mia and her Aunt Susan.
