Project Life: Week 11

Once a week I share my Project Life pages--mostly to help keep myself on track for the year. I'd love to see your pages too so be sure to leave a comment or link to your weekly spread. You can follow me here and on Instagram to see all sorts of goodies from our life.

This week I picked up a new kit. I didn't mean to and really don't need more cards. But I saw the Kiwi kit and fell in love with it's brightness and journaling cards. They'll be perfect for adding to my pages and I can't wait to use more of them. If you see it (I think it's a JoAnn's exclusive), I encourage you to pick it up!
This week I used the Kiwi date card to set the color theme for the week. I also used the back of Seafoam cards from last week.
Here's the whole week:

Close up on the left side:
This side documents our family day of brunch, bird-watching, and bug bingo.
All of these pictures were taken on one day and two of them were from Mark. It's not often I get him in the pictures, so to have two in one week is awesome!

Close up on the right side:
Self portraits, a glimpse of my work at the library, game night with Daddy are documented on this side.
The three journaling cards on this side are from the Kiwi kit. I added washi tape, a label, and an Amy Tangerine sticker to this side.

I wanted to give you a closer look at the quote card from the Kiwi kit. There a quite a few of these different quote cards in the kit and they are so sweet. My beloved water-based fine point white Sharpie ran out of ink a couple of week's ago. I had a hard time finding a replacement and finally settled on the water-based pack that has 5 different colored markers with white included (use a coupon to get a better deal!). I also picked up a cheap Gelly Roll marker in white. I liked how fine the tip was and thought it was worth $1.50 to test it out. It might me my new favorite white pen. It is smooth writing and worked really well on the photo below.

The Today sticker is Amy Tangerine from a sticker pack I found a couple of weeks ago at our local craft store. The I love it when card is from the Kiwi kit and was perfect to journal about how I love when Mark and I curl up together to watch TV and drink tea.

Have you seen these Project Life cards yet?

I love that there are a set of cards out there for the hard days too. You can find these at Everyday Rituals
