Project Life Week 2

I find myself still trying to get into the flow of a new Project Life year. It doesn't help that I've been busy working on a quilt project and not wanting to do anything else. Still, these pages came together pretty quickly once I focused myself. I used a mix of the Midnight & Seafoam kits and added a few extras.

Here's the whole spread:

I'm not sure I'm going to stick with printing this style of date card, but I found this one and loved it. This sweet calendar card is from This Girl Loves. It fit perfectly with the Downton photo next to it!

I love that Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery included a Project Life card in with their newest sampler. Such a fun way to mark the start of this project.

The start of a new season of Downton is a big deal around here. I spent most of the evenings this week re-watching the season premiere! This photo was one I found on Google and printed to 4x6.
I also wanted to document the start of my Whole 30 challenge. I had a photo of the book and shopping list and so added it with a little journaling.

When you don't have a lot of pictures, lists are a great way to add journaling to your pages.

One of my favorite photos from the week---a quick self-portrait in the mirrors at Costco.

This quote card is from Elisejoy
I had to add the picture of Hollis sticking his toy tool up his nose---such a boy thing to do!

During a family game of Apples to Apples, I covertly snapped this photo of Naomi. I love using negative space in the photos to write directly on the photo. I used a Sharpie paint pen.

This polka dot paper (from Pink Paislee) was perfect for some doodling at the end of the spread.
