Project Life Week 43

I embraced the simple and less is more approach to Project Life this week. With everything that we have going on, I've been leaving everything to the last minute. Meal prep, homework, and all creative projects are often pushed to whatever little time I can find to get things done. It's an imperfect system, but I'm determined to stay caught up as best I can. Luckily, I had a lot of photos to choose from this week. On Monday night, I printed out photos and just added journaling cards from the Seafoam kit.
Sometimes the simple pages end up being my favorites.

The whole spread:

It's not often I can get a photo of the three of them together anymore!

I used the orange/brown theme from the date card to help unify the spread.
I cut down a small scrap of the matching Seafoam scrapbook paper to help the photo of Mia and her missing tooth pop.

The weather has been stunning the past week and so I took as many fall walks as possible.

We had our very first preschool conferences for the twins and to celebrate we took them to Dairy Queen. Naomi wasn't about to get her picture taken. Hollis was all smiles!
I used some of my favorite office supply labels to hide the distracting background more.

So apparently you never forgot how to do the goth makeup of your youth. Mia was pretty thrilled and hammed it up for a pre-dance photo shoot. I used one of the black journaling cards to help emphasize the Halloween theme.

The twins wanted make-up, nail polish and a photo shoot too.

I love adding lists to my Project Life.

This was a candid photo I snapped of the kids as they waited for our local Halloween parade to start. I love the smiles they all have and love it even more that they aren't posed and looking right at the camera.

I'm linking up with The Mom Creative for her weekly Project Life Share.

I love the last photo! Sometimes, those unplanned pictures are the best!
