I wanted to share the last bit of the December Daily book with you to finally close out that project for 2012. I really do love having all the memories leading up to Christmas in one book and now that it's completed it feels like a real album. I'm pretty sure I'll do it again next year, but am playing around with some different ideas of how to put it all together.
Here's a look at how this year ended!
Day 20: Preschool concert. One of my favorite memories---my little shy girl busting out "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Day 20: Hollis as Joseph
Day 21: I used a coin sleeve to add instagram photos and other small tokens.
Day 22: Visiting Santa!!
Day 23: I added a few pages of my favorite packaging from the season.
Day 24: I cut down all our received Christmas cards to fit into the coin sleeve.
Here are more Christmas card collages.
Closer up on the journaling.
Christmas Day: just a few of my favorite photos!
Tucked in the note Santa wrote Mia.
I like to close out the book with favorite memories and things I am grateful for. I attached this list to one of the Thank You cards I used this season.
One thing I'm really missing this year is the added pages of a visit with my family. We didn't get to see them this year for Christmas and it felt odd and sad. Hoping to remedy that next year for sure!!
I'll be back tomorrow to share week 52 of Project Life!
