Last week as a hard week. We all had varying stomach bugs and then lost our eldest and much loved kitty, Niko. The only way to really document the week was to keep it super simple. Photos, journaling & done. This week has already been a lot better and we've finally started to show some Christmas spirit! I'm tackling all sorts of handmade projects including December Daily. I'll share my first week of that album on Friday!
Here's the first half of the spread:
A lot of imperfect iPhone photos to document us living in PJs for a few days! On one of the days that we all felt better, we took a walk in the neighborhood and happened upon some men cutting down a huge tree. The twins loved watching!!
Here is the second half with all of the pictures taken on Saturday morning. We started our advent calendar with the movie Arthur Christmas and spent the morning listening to classical music and painting. It was one of the calmest mornings we've had in a while and was so nice! I set up the timer on my camera so I could get a photo of us girls crafting at the table. I've got to remember to do that more often!
I love this picture of Mia. I don't often get her looking at the camera!
I pulled out some of the journaling cards from the Cobalt Project Life kit. I love the "handwriting" on them and the slightly wonky journaling lines. If my heart wasn't aching for the Seafoam kit, I think I could be happy just using Cobalt next year!
In the middle is a card from the Clementine kit that I altered with a simple handwritten sentiment.
Oh the bedhead and still sleepy faces!
The flower card is from a thank you card my sister sent. I love the pop of color it added!
I'm linking up with The Mom Creative for her weekly share!
