December Daily Pt. 2

It feels really insignificant to share anything crafty here, but I'm really trying to maintain some sense of normalcy. We've spent the weekend surrounding ourselves with family and love. I'm heartbroken and grieving for the families who have senselessly lost their loved ones. I don't take for granted at all how lucky I am to have little ones who help ease the pain with hugs, kisses, laughter, and innocence.
Playing with paper and pictures helps me focus on what & who are important in a time where nothing else makes sense.

I've been able to keep up with December Daily pretty well and I want to share the next batch of days with you. I'm finding that this year is a lot more simplistic in approach than last year, but with so many projects to work on and Christmas almost here it helps me stay on top of it.

For Day 6 I focused on the newest batch of ornaments. I wish I could tell you where these ornaments are now. The newest game with the twins is to play musical ornaments & they move them from the kid tree to the "real" tree.
For this page, I cut down a Project Life Design A protector. The tags are from Ormolu.

This is the corresponding page. I loved this bunny ornament that World Market had. It fit in perfectly with our animal themed tree!

How they look together.

On the 7th day I met my sister at IKEA. This is an iPhone shot of us after we spent the day in shopping heaven!
The 8th is the twins' birthday. I used a baseball card holder and printed my favorite photos from the day to add.

Here's a close-up!

You'll have to imagine more pictures on the other side! LOL! I somehow overlooked taking a shot of the backside!

Our town had a model railroad show and we decided to take the kids. They were enthralled with the huge train sets. Hollis especially liked the Lego train set.

It was really cold on the 10th and so we stayed in PJs and spent the day with paint and Toy Story movies.

On the 11th we made popcorn and hot cocoa and watched Polar Express. I loved this look that Mia had---pure amazement & wonder.

Most the tags used through out are from Ormolu, which I ordered last year. Some of the number stickers are from the Simple Stories line of paper. I'm finding that I don't have a lot of embellishments to add this year and I'm really trying to not buy anything new. We'll see if I can hold to that!
I'll be back in a few days with more pages.
