Last week was a busy week for us! We had a family reunion with my dad and got to see a lot of the cousins. I had so many pictures that I wanted to add that I used one full page protector to fit everything in.
Here is side one of the week:
Most of the pictures are from our visit to the zoo. I did add a photo I took during Michelle Obama's DNC speech. It was an amazing speech and made me proud to have her as a role model of a mother and woman.
I managed to get a couple of really great photos of Mia and her cousin, Aniyah, and this is one of my favorites. They are such good friends and I love to see how much they have bonded. All the stickers used are from Bella Blvd.
This is the first side of the insert. I didn't do anything special, but took Design A and filled it in! I created a title card and then cut it in half to fit into the 3x4 slots. It includes pictures of Naomi and her uncle which she calls "her Daniel," blowing bubbles with Grandpa, and the eldest cousin Anthony.
Here is the second side of the insert. I didn't take very many pictures over the weekend, but Mia snapped a ton one afternoon and my sister sent me a bunch too. It was nice to not have to stress about it and still get really great photos of the family! I love having Mia's perspective represented too!
Here is the second half of the week. I really was trying not to dig into my Cobalt kit yet and save it for next year. But with the news of the new kits, I'm feeling like I might mix it up with all 3 kits next year. So I "borrowed" the heart card from the Cobalt kit!
Mia has been falling asleep while reading lately and I just couldn't resist snapping a photo. It's so like every night when I wake to Mark pulling a book from my hands.
We had cooler weather for a few days and spent a lot of it outdoors! I love adding screen captures of the weather to help document the changing seasons!
I have finally gotten Mark hooked on Downton Abbey and we are working our way through season 2. It's going to be a long wait until January! This is just an internet photo printed on regular paper.
I'm linking up with The Mom Creative for her weekly Project Life Share.
