Last week was another one of those whirlwind weeks and I'm grateful for this super easy way to document the passing time. Seriously. All I have to do is slip in some photos and if I want add journaling and perhaps stickers. It's pretty perfect.
Becky Higgins announced last week new designs for Project Life 2013 and mini-kits geared specifically for children. I'm thinking of picking up some of the mini-kits to work on albums for each of the kiddos. It seems (surprise, surprise) that once the babies were born, keeping up with albums for each kid was impossible. I'll let you know as it gets closer. Also, I'm in a bit of a bind because I had already planned to use the Cobalt design next year. But, the release of Seafoam & Olive have me wanting to play with those too.
Here's last week's spread (side one):
Mark and I celebrated 12 years of marriage by going to see the band that we met at almost 20 years ago. It was nostalgic and pretty amazing.
To go with the bigger photos of Hollis, I added a journaling card with a little note for him.
The iPhone photo is what my lap looks like every afternoon when I let them wind down with a show.
Side two of the spread:
I included a photo of our first squash. I saved a whole bunch of various squash seeds from our CSA last year. The garden is now full of winter, acorn, and pumpkins!
I also added a photo of the babies sleeping during driveline to get Mia. They aren't napping much at home these days, but if I drive around a little they usually go right to sleep.
One morning Mia stumbled downstairs early. She claimed to be ready for the day, but then curled up next to me and fell right asleep.
We had our babysitter come on Saturday morning and Mark and I rode bikes to have brunch and then to the farmer's market. I love morning dates! The journaling card is one of the new Ali Edwards cards.
I also included movie ticket stubs from taking Mia to see The Odd Life of Timothy Green. I totally cried at the end---such a sweet movie.
Mark stayed home with the babies while Mia and I went to movie. He texted me this photo of Naomi's choice of nap attire. I had to include it! The tag is from Ormolu.
I'm linking up with The Mom Creative for her weekly Project Life share.
