Another week down and again I had a full share of photos. Most of the pictures on the full spread came from the iPhone--either Mark's or mine. It's such a handy way to capture the more spontaneous moments.
Here is the first side of the week. I included pictures of Mia's banana bread experiment, our backyard BBQ to celebrate 4th of July early, and a sweet photo of the twins sharing some iPad time. Nothing fancy at all. I added some journaling here and there, but let the photos tell the story too.
Mark taught Mia to play solitaire and one evening she set up a game on the living room rug. I loved the way the light hit her and snapped a photo. I added some washi tape and stickers for the title and done!
Mark has been really good at sending me photos that he takes to include in the book. This is one of him & Hollis. I absolutely love the smile on Hollis's face!
The card is from Simple Stories and the stickers are from Jillibean Soup.
I had another insert this week dedicated to the Ren Fair visit with Mia. The title card is from Simple Stories and I added some washi tape and a Little Yellow Bicycle tag. The stickers are Jillibean Soup and are quickly becoming some of my favorites! She had such a blast. She ate too many sweets, met Jack Sparrow, and ended up looking like a fairy gypsy with purple hair.
Here is the back side of the insert. The pink stickers were calling to me!
Here is side two of the week. I took pictures of the sick kids, Mark & I on our date, and my two boys drinking their "beers." The other two are pictures that Mark sent me from the 4th of July Rapid's game that he and Mia went to.
Mark and Mia watched the fireworks from the soccer field after the Rapid's game. The journaling tag is from Simple Stories that I cut down just a little bit. I added a piece of washi tape and stickers from Doodlebug.
Both Hollis and Naomi were sick this week and one morning he asked to watch SuperWhy and insisted that I tuck a piece of Star Wars fabric under his head. The journaling tag is from October Afternoon and I added some stickers from LilyBee.
