Project Life Week 22

Nearly half through the year and I have to say that I can't quite imagine not using Project Life to document our life. It's so easy and I've developed a little rhythm of working on it a little bit every day. I usually finish it up on Saturday or Sunday morning. One thing I've noticed it that if I don't have my camera nearby at all times, I don't always remember to take pictures. I have my iPhone handy, but I get the best pictures from the camera.
Mark has gotten really good at sending me photos regularly too. I like having his perspective of the events especially if I'm not there!

On the first half of the spread I included a picture Mark sent me from the soccer game he took Mia too. She got to meet one of the players and picked out a new stuffed animal. It's become a great "date" for her and Mark to do once a month. I snapped a few photos from a picnic we went to on Memorial Day and did a card to document how obsessed Naomi is with swinging.
Mark and I went to see Bon Iver and Feist this week and so I included an instagram of the big screen. The red card I made from cutting down a thank you card that a friend sent!

Here are some close ups:

Supplies: washi/Target, button/Love, Elsie, stickers/jillibean soup

Supplies: sticker/bo bunny, sharpie paint pen
Mia was home this week and so we spent a lot of time having dance parties, playing the backyard, and preparing for her dance recital. It went a lot smoother than I imagined to have all three home. We also got our first CSA of the season this week. There were a lot of greens, fresh strawberries, turnips & radishes. This is our 2nd year at the farm and we are continually amazed at how good it is!
We discovered this week that we have a second robin's nest in the back yard. This one is higher up (smart birds) but when Momma Robin was gone I snapped a photo of the three perfectly blue eggs. It's been a real treat to get to see the nesting process up close!
And yup, that's Hollis in a Minnie Mouse dress. The girls wore fancy dresses for their indoor dance party and he wanted one too. Luckily, with two sisters, we are never short on fancy dresses!

Close ups:

Quote from Agnes De Mille "To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful. This power, it is glory and it is your for the taking."
I wrote a letter to Mia about how proud I was of her performance at the dance recital. The foldable cards are perfect for hiding little sentimental notes.
Supplies: rub-ons, Le pen
