This was one of those weeks that when the weekend came I had nearly zero pictures taken. I don't know what happened, but the week sped by and I had little to show for it. That's okay because I used some iPhone photos, some of the statement card included in the Project Life kit, a letter from grandma, and part of a mother's day card my sister sent me. It filled in nicely and came together pretty quickly! I've moved from documenting each day of the week and just using whatever I want from the week as a whole.
On the first half of the spread I used a picture I took after Naomi woke up from her nap. She had lined up all her babies between the crib rail and the wall and they were hanging there kind of creepily. I used camera photos of a chalk drawing Hollis made and of the chair game they played in the backyard one day. I also included a photo of Naomi sleeping with her arm strategically worked out of the car seat straps.

The week we discovered a nest of baby robins in the backyard. I've become quite protective of them, but have snapped a few photos of their progress. It's amazing to watch the mother and father robin swoop in and out of the backyard with beaks full of worms, and moths.
Mark's mom came and stayed with us for the weekend and again I hardly took out the camera. I did get a photo of the locket she gave Mia for her birthday. We took her to lunch at our favorite Indian food restaurant. It was a chilly and wet weekend, but we had a great visit with her!
When I went to put everything together I was one space empty. So, taking a cue from my mom who is always saying I should include more of myself in the book, I printed out a self portrait and added a list of some of my favorite things right now.
My sister sent this picture of my nieces and nephews with my mother's day card. I LOVE it. It's perhaps the best picture I've seen of all three of them and I love the expressions on their faces. So sweet.
And, I might as well end with a close up of my naughty little monkey/Houdini.
