I've had another revelation of why I like this project so much. Before starting Project Life I would labor over a few pages a week and only get 1-2 pictures per layout. It took a marathon of scrapping to feel caught up. But, in a few short sessions throughout the week, I really feel like the whole story of the small moments of the week are told. It's not fancy, but I've never really been a fancy scrapper and the pictures really do tell story without always needing the embellishments.
Here's the first side. We dubbed this week birthday week and it's Mia heavy because of it. She's been pretty absent from pages lately, so it's nice to finally get some pictures of her in!
|Supplies: Jenni Bowlin banner stickers, Dear Lizzy paper, Sharpie pens, Doodlebug rub-ons, washi, and more.|
Here is a close up of the super cute puppy flowers that Mia got from Aunt Susan!
Side two has mostly pictures from our "date" with Mia. We took her to see Dan Zanes & Friends and have a sushi dinner. She got to meet Dan Zanes after the show and even ran into our town's notorious Jack Sparrow. We all had such a good time. I did include one picture of Naomi on a sugar high at the coffee shop and Hollis sporting is new sunglasses. I also put in a picture of the quilt I finished and a journaling card about Naomi's potty training success! That's a lot to squeeze in to such a small space!
|Supplies: Amy Tangerine Thickers, Lily Bee alpha stickers, and more|
Close up of Mia and Jack and Dan! Dan Zanes has mad style. He wore a red suit and ruffly shirt. His hair is wild and totally cool.
And close-up of the babies.
I'm linking up for the first time at Mom Creative for their weekly Project Life share. I've been looking through other people's PL pages for a few weeks and finally got up the nerve to jump in!
