Ali Edwards, does a project each December called December Daily. It's basically a small scrapbook of all the activities that makes December so special. I've watched her do it for a couple of years, but have felt too busy with babies to make it work for me. Last year my mom did one and I loved how beautifully it documented the small moments throughout a busy holiday season. So, I decided to put together my own. Now, let me say right off the bat that my intention is to keep it as simple as possible. I set a goal of just telling 12 stories, but I'm also open to adding what feels right to the scrapbook. I want to just tell the stories and not worry about how it looks too much. I'll share it with you here as the month progresses. This is the title page and folks that saw it on instagram a while ago will notice it's changed slightly. I had a moment the other day where I was working on page two and sewed through this page in a very not cute way. Lucky I was able to save last year's Starbucks sleeve and remake the page. The notebook I'm using was a small 6x8 Franklin Covey binder that my mom found at work and passed on to me. I've been holding it for something like this for a few years. I covered the binder with Moda fabric and since all my other scrapbooks are covered similarly it fits right in!

I really didn't buy anything new as far as scrapbook supplies. I'm trying to use as much of my stash as possible. I also am having a lot of fun playing with photo sizes and trying to make everything fit on such a small scale.
I'll share more pages with you next week!!
